Amtrak rail to White Sulphur Springs from DC and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Eastbound on I-64.
Take exit 175, follow Route 60 east for about 4 miles. This takes you past much new construction on both sides of the road and on through the Greenbrier Golf Courses into White Sulphur Springs.
You pass through two sets of traffic lights. Upon passing the second light, on the left you will pass a service station and a video store. The James Wylie House is next.
There are some large willow trees on the road frontage and a sign for the James Wylie House. There is a small road- Castle Drive immediately past the trees. Left on Castle Drive and you will find our off-street parking.
Westbound on I-64.
Take exit 181 and at the bottom of the off ramp take a right at the stop sign. Go about 1000 yards. You will pass a Federal Fish Hatchery and shortly after there is a speed zone ahead sign. Take the first right after the "25" speed limit sign which is Castle Drive. There is off street parking alongside the house.
From Greenbrier Valley Airport.
From the airport exit, turn left on Route 219 south. At I-64, about 4 miles, turn east and follow direction above.
From Roanoke Airport.
From the airport road, turn right. About 200 yards, there is a right exit sign for I-581. Take this and at about 400 yards, there is an exit right onto I-581. (It is not well signed). Follow 581 to the end and turn north on I-81 signed for Lexington, VA. Go about 6 miles to exit 150B and follow 220 north for about 35 miles. You go through Fincastle and Iron Gate. When you get to Clifton Forge, follow the sign for I-64. Do not take the left turn into the town. Get onto I-64 west (you are at VA exit 27) go the 27 miles to the WVA state line and once into West Virginia, go 4 miles to exit 181 and follow the directions above.
